Donna Andrews was appointed head golf instructor at Pine Needles Resort And Lodge in 2006. As Ms. Bell begins to slow in her teachings, Donna has stepped in to continue the treasured legacy that Ms. Bell built at Pine Needles. Mrs. Bell and Donna share very similar golf teaching philosophies and Donna plans to carry on these teaching traditions well into the future. In doing so, Donna will be hands on at all of the golf schools, unlike a lot of other teachers who attach their name to the golf school but do not interact with the students. She believes that part of what makes any golf school a success is great teachers, good instruction, and getting to know each student. Donna's goal is to do just that and spend time with each student. Donna believes in helping to keep the instruction simple for the students so that they may easily apply their lessons from the range to the golf course. Donna Andrews currently leads the Pine Needles Golf Academy golf schools and will be adding the Donna Andrews Signature Golf and Fitness School. Donna believes the benchmark of quality instruction is her personal involvement with each and every student. Smaller golf schools such as the Pine Needles Golf Academy School and the Donna Andrews Signature Golf and Fitness School, offer very personal attention. Each day begins with classroom time where Donna and the other instructors discuss the days learning activities and answer any questions. After a full morning of golf instruction, Donna and the students enjoy lunch before heading out on the links for on-course golf instruction. Having competed on the LPGA golf tour for over 15 years, once achieving #1 World LPGA ranking, Donna understands the importance of good golf course management and developing a consistant pre-shot routine. These qualities are what allowed Donna to Achieve great success while on the LPGA golf tour and now she is ready to share those experiences with all her students. |
